Full Results from Shadow Mountain are now available along with an updated Money List and Order of Merit. A reminder to all players that the Tour Championship entry deadline is Friday, September 18th at 4:00 PM.

On Monday, August 17th Shadow Mountain hosted 19 players, which for many was their inaugural trek around the golf course. The course proved to be challenging for all. At the end of the day Rick Lalonde from Copper Point Golf Club and Scott Shouldice from Fernie tied with 2 over 74's. The two ventured back out onto the course where Rick Lalonde birdied the second playoff hole to take home his first ever title. Thanks to Rob Anderson at Shadow Mountain for hosting the event. Full results along with an updated Order of Merit will be available shortly. The Kootenay Pro Series wraps up its 2009 season on with it's Tour Championship to be held on September 21 and 22 at Eagle Ranch and the Springs at Radium. Information will be sent out shortly.

Results from Golden and the Kootenay Cup have been updated along with the Order of Merit leaders for the 2009 season. The next event will take place on Monday, August 17th at the Shadow Mountain Golf Course in Cranbrook BC. The start time is 12:00PM. Please register by Friday, August 14th to sensure your spot in the field.

Matt Freeman from the APGA won his second consecutive event with a sparkling 1-under 71 in wet and rainy conditions on Monday, June 22nd. Matt finished two strokes ahead of his nearest competitor on the day. The Kootenay Pro Series thanks Marc Parney, the Head Professional at Golden Golf and Country Club for hosting the event. Full results will be avaliable shortly. The Pro Series next official event is Monday, August 17th at Shadow Mountain in Cranbrook. It is a 12:00 P.M. start.

Mark Corrigan of the APGA continued his good early season play with his first victory of the season on Monday at Trickle Creek. Corrigan fired an even-par 72 to capture the win. Full Results are now posted on the Results Page. The Kootenay Pro Series thanks Head Professional Doug Schneider for hosting the event. Thanks again to Fletcher Leisure Group for their support of the tour. The next event will be held Monday, June 8th at Eagle Ranch in Invermere, BC. Start is 12:00 PM. 30 Professionals and amateurs teed it up Monday in hopes of winning the second event of the Kootenay Pro Series in 2009. Monday saw the first playoff of the season at Bootleg Gap between Grewolf professional Scott McClain and PGA of Alberta member Murray Walter. After both shooting even par 72's, both players made par and birdie on the the first two playoff holes. Walter would par the 3rd playoff hole and McClain went on to make bogey. It was Walter's first event on the Kootenay Pro Series and he earned $635 for his efforts. McClain earned $420 for his efforts. Tied for third were host professional Trevor Simkins and the PGA of BC's Jon Mahovlic. Thanks to Trevor Simkins and Bootleg Gap for hosting the event along with thanks to Fletcher Leisure group for their continued support of the series. Full results will be posted shortly. The Pro Series tees it up again on Monday, May 25th at Trickle Creek Golf Resort in Kimberley.
The Kootenay Pro Series presented by Fletcher Leisure Group held it�s first event of the season at Fairmont Riverside Golf Resort on Monday, April 27th. Despite the cold winter like conditions 29 golf professionals teed it up in pursuit of the first title of the season. Trevor Metcalfe of Eagle Ranch Golf Resort shot one over 72 to capture the event. Dating back to last year�s tour championship this was Metcalfe�s second straight victory in the Kootenay Pro Series. Trevor earned $620 for his efforts. Finishing second was the APGA�s Matt Freeman who carded a 2 over 73 while Casey Johnson (Windermere), Darren Ottenbreit (Copper Point), Trevor Simkins (Bootleg Gap), Ryan Wells (Eagle Ranch) and amateur Scott Shouldice (Fernie) finished tied for third with 3 over 74�s. The Kootenay Pro Series would like to thank Billy Kulyk and Fairmont Riverside for hosting the event and Fletcher Leisure Group (Rick Lea-Adams, AUR and Nevin Thompson- Sunice, Ashworth) for their support of the pro series. The next event will be held Monday, May 11 at Greywolf. Start time is 12:00 p.m. Full results can be viewed under the results page.
